A Special Place, A Stronger Purpose
In a quiet corner of the world, where many would expect silence, we found a space filled with hope, laughter, questions, and dreams. That place is Libaniya Niketan – a home, a shelter, and more importantly, a launchpad for brilliant young minds.
Libaniya Niketan is not just a girls’ hostel – it’s a family, a safe space, and a part of an NGO that supports girls from tough backgrounds. Many of the children here have lost one parent, or live in situations where they cannot be with both. Some are fighting battles we cannot see. But what shines through them is their unshakable spirit and a deep hunger to grow, learn, and change their future.
A Journey Begins – November to December 2024
In November 2024, we began a new chapter with these amazing girls. We launched a tinkering and innovation batch – and from the very first day, the energy in the room was extraordinary.
They didn’t just attend sessions. They owned them.
They came forward with ideas, asked curious questions, and built things with excitement and care. Even without prior experience, they were quick learners – showing signs of becoming future scientists, engineers, doctors, and innovators.
For them, this wasn’t just a workshop. It was a rare opportunity to finally express what they’ve always carried inside – a dream to belong to the scientific world.
Big Dreams, Brave Hearts
Each girl had a story – some filled with pain, some with courage, but all with a spark that refused to fade. They told us how they want to become doctors to serve their communities, engineers to build new solutions, and scientists to explore what’s possible.
We listened in awe as they shared their thoughts. One girl wanted to design machines for disabled people. Another wanted to become an AI expert. Their vision and confidence left us speechless.
They may not have access to fancy labs or high-tech devices, but they have something far more powerful – a will to rise, and a heart full of purpose.
Learning, Laughing, Creating – Together
Over the course of two months, we explored basic electronics, hands-on mechanical kits, creative STEM challenges, and team-based activities. The girls thrived in an environment that let them explore, fail, retry, and succeed.
They supported one another, celebrated each other’s little wins, and showed us what real teamwork looks like. The room was always filled with laughter, ideas, and the sound of tools clicking together to create something new.
There was no hesitation, no fear of making mistakes – only the excitement of doing something meaningful.
Why Libaniya Niketan Will Always Be Close to Our Hearts
It’s hard to put into words the feeling we got while working with these girls. Despite their personal struggles, they showed up with courage, discipline, and kindness. Their strength inspired us.
Libaniya Niketan may not have the biggest infrastructure or the most advanced equipment – but it has something far more rare: girls who dare to dream big despite every obstacle.
And we feel honored to have played a small role in helping them move closer to those dreams.
The Future is Female – And It’s Bright
As we reflect on our time from November to December 2024, we carry the stories, smiles, and strength of these girls with us. We know that the journey doesn’t end here – it’s only the beginning.
We look forward to continuing this work and bringing more tools, technology, and encouragement to the girls of Libaniya Niketan. Because every girl deserves a chance to innovate, explore, and shine.
